Our trip to the Boyce's Farmers Market started with a delicious breakfast. We purchased some fresh squeezed orange juice from the vendor pictured here. We were sitting where we could see them put the oranges through their machine. I asked after, how many boxes of oranges they go through in a day at the market and he said about 40. WOW!
This clowns name is Chuckles! You'd never know it by the look of his sad face! lol
Had to take this guys picture since his product is, you guessed it, 'Pictures'! He is from Kingston NB and said it took him 2 years to get a booth in the market. He just has a little point and shoot camera and has some amazing pictures. He puts them all on magnets. He turns some of his pictures into paintings which he also has for sale. He also teaches painting.
This is a vendor from the Oromocto area, 'Mulders'.
Loved the whole feeling of this setting. The smoke coming off the BBQ's and all the differnt smells of the differnt food vendors!
This guy (guess he would be considerd a panhandler) entertained us with his mouth organ!
Lobster anyone?
These guys would make you a glass of fresh lemonade while you waited!
These three ticket sellers were selling tickets on the canoe that you see in the picture, raising money to go on a canoe trip, I believe they said, on the St. Croix. They are from the Nackawic High School and the canoe you see there; these three girls had a part in making. Howard and I both bought tickets. We'd love to win the canoe! The girls thought that I was from the news. I think one of them was disappointed when she found out that I wasn't; one of the other girls was relieved; she didn't want her picture in the paper. lol I got their e-mail address and sent them a copy of the picture.
Interesting to see all the different clothing attires at the market!
All in all "A Great Day at the Market!"
