Ezekiel 2:4-8
. The people to whom I am sending you are obstinate and stubborn. Say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign Lord says.
And whether they listen or fail to listen--for they are a rebellious house--they will know that a prophet has been among them.
And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them or their words. Do not be afraid, though briers and thorns are all around you and you live among scorpions. Do not be afraid of what they say or terrified by them, thought they are a rebellious house.
You must speak my words to them, whether they listen or fail to listen, for they are rebellious.
But you, son of man, listen to what I say to you. Do not rebel like that rebellious house; open your mouth and eat what I give you.
I am reading through Ezekiel. The main reason I chose this book is because God used the above Scripture to speak to me quite a few years ago. Then, about a year after speaking this to me, I was in the situation that I believe God was speaking to me about. Now I find myself in very similar circumstances, so I decided to read through the entire chapter. I pray for direction and understanding in situation that we, are in within our church. We pray for guidance of what we are to do. Are we to stay there or move on? I pray that we find it within ourselves to stay there but are struggling spiritually to stay there. We are not motivated to work in a ministry there. Is God taking us out of this church like he took us out of the other church? Please pray for us!
