I’ve been neglectful of the Word as of late. This morning I
read an email from a good friend and in the end she states, quote: If that sounds to complicated, he says, read the Word,
do the Word, accept the Word, trust in the Word and everything you ever need
will be provided. So if you
really want to be successful, wealthy, healthy get into THE WORD

All her emails are
encouraging and the first thing I did was read from the Word. I have been
reading through Acts and I was at Chapter 12. Here it tells of James being
executed by order of King Herod and of Peter being put in prison to be executed
after the Passover. However Gods plans were different and he sent an angel to
rescue Peter from prison. I guess after reading the above mentioned email and
then reading this chapter the thing that struck me is how God will look after
us. We only need to depend on Him; not ourselves or anyone else!
This also gave me a great
idea for a poem. Write about how we struggle through things sometimes, and all
we have to do is put our trust in God and put it before Him and he will rescue
us; keep us safe and give us peace.
