Acts 15

I was brought to tears this morning as I read Acts Chapter 15. I guess it was hitting a 'little too close to home'. We have been attending a church, on two different occasions, when the church's leadership (not the Pastor`s) made decisions that we felt were not done in the proper manner. We have left both of those church`s. As I read Acts 15 it reminds me of these situations and how there are churches out there that are in a spiritual state of disrepair. I say spiritual, because I feel that in the circumstances we were in, that if they had been totally focused on God, that the decisions that were made, may still have been made but not in the manner in which they were made. Too many people got hurt in the process and it damaged the church and possibly some peoples relationship with God. In verse 16 it says,  "After this I will return and rebuild David`s fallen tent.  Its ruins and I will rebuild, and I will restore it.`` That is my prayer for all churches that are in a state of disrepair`."  That the Holy Spirit come in, in a strong an powerful way and rebuild these churches!
