breakfast at the hotel which had such things as cereal, juice, ham, bacon, eggs, fruit,
juice, coffee, tea, yogurt, baked beans, roasted tomatoes, roasted portobello
mushrooms and even black pudding and haggis, which I tried but Howard didn't. It
wasn't terrible but not something I would eat very often. Couldn't bring myself to eat the
black (blood) pudding, however!! Then it was off for a bus tour of downtown Edinburg.
Then an audio tour of the Royal Yacht Britannia. Back to the bus to be taken back up to
Edinburg to be dropped off for the afternoon. We buddied up with another couple from
the US, Pat and Henry. We ate and then headed up to the Edinburgh Castle for another
audio tour! WOW! it was amazing.
We then parted company and we headed back down the Royal Mile to do a little
geocaching, but were unsuccessful in that; shopped a little, ate supper and headed
back to our pick up place. We're back at our hotel room and enjoying a quiet evening.
We'll be to bed early and off to Northern Scotland tomorrow!

| This was a bath house that I believe, Mary Queen of Scott's used. It was near where the Queen now stays when she is in town. |

| I believe that this is a section of the wall that is left that was originally built around the city, by the women, to protect them as the men were away fighting. |
