Remnising!

Here is Grammie coming out the back door, the door we always used.  And we sat on this doorstep with a washboard, when Grammie was doing the wash with her wringer washe,r and scrubbed the socks for her. I loved doing it......thought it was fun!!

View of the front of the house while Grampie and Grammie were living there. Grampie kept the house in tip-top shape. It always looked good.

This picture I got from Aunt Jean and Uncle Gilmore. It is a very old picture and you can see the back of the house in the picture. We do not know who is in the picture!

This is a great Family picture. Probably taken just a few years before Grammie and  mum passed away. That's Grammie in the front, of course, Grampie to the left as you are looking at the picture, Mum on the far right then Aunt Audrey and then Uncle Gilmore. Grammie passed away in, I believe 1982 and mum in 1984.

Here are some pictues of the house today. It actually brought a tear to my eyes, while I was standing in the yard taking the pictures. It felt strange and it was sad to see the house in such a sad state of disrepair.
